Thank You to All Who Bought My $1 Product

First of all, to all my email subscribers,  sorry that you recieved the “Can you do me a favor” email again. I’m still playing catch up from being in the Ultimate Internet Bootcamp all last week, and that kinda fell through the crack.

I’d like to give a heartfelt thanks to all who helped me out by purchasing my dollar product “How to Use Self Hypnosis to Overcome Anxiety”. About 60 people purchased the Guide for  a dollar, and after paypal took 33 cents, I ended up with about $35 in revenue, all of which I’ll donate to charity.

The purpose of the Bootcamp was to learn the ins and outs of internet marketing. Over three hundred people attended the Bootcamp. Three hundred and twenty people all in a big room, all wired to the internet. Some folks didn’t even know how to cut and paste.

The goal was to develop a website on a WordPress platform (I use WordPress for this blog), create a product, set up PayPal, and see if we could make our first dollar before the Bootcamp was over. Just the technology logistics were staggering. In spite of that, everyone made a dollar at the event.

We also learned how use social media, such as Twitter, Facebook and You Tube to drive traffic to our sites. In addition, the Bootcamp offered lots of valuable info on working with affiliates, creating joint ventures, and how to use articles written by yourself or others to create traffic.

Of course, selling one product for a dollar  is not a great way to make a lot of money. The purpose of this “offering” was to test the system and more importantly, to build a list when people opt- in at my new site. 

My new website is PasadenaHypnosisCD.com, and I plan to offer hypnosis recordings to help people with different types of anxiety. The website will also feature a blog targeted to people challenged by anxiety in whatever form.

I’ve mentioned that we had a contest to see who could sell the most one dollar product. My team ended up with about 135 points, each point being a sale. The winning team had over 1300 points. Seems that some people called friends and had them purchase 1000 units on a credit card. Why didn’t I think of that?
