What about self hypnosis?

You naturally go into trance at least twice a day. Since this is a natural state of mind, you can learn to harness this state by learning self hypnosis.
It’s important to realize that we hypnotize ourselves regularly: through constant and habitual self talk (usually negative), by constant exposure to people or media outlets that espouse a particular ideology or political philosophy, or even in the process of learning and education. Self hypnosis simply allows us to consciously and deliberately choose what suggestions are going to be allowed into our minds for the purpose of learning or personal self development.
